I'm thrilled to share with you my recent 3D printing project. This project was inspired by SWAME studio's Alien Pen-Holder, prompting me to design my own pen holder. After three months of sculpting, crafting, and countless failed prints, I finally successfully printed the first batch of models.
However, this is merely a testing phase, and there are many issues I need to address. For instance, the current slicing positions of the model are not ideal, and excessive slicing makes the process quite cumbersome.
Regarding printing equipment and materials, I'm using the Elegoo Saturn 3U printer. As for resins, I've tested Sunlu basic resin, Sunlu Standard plus resin, Elegoo 8k resin, and Elegoo ABS-Like resin. So far, I'm pleased with the results from Elegoo 8k resin. Additionally, I have a bottle of Sunlu red wax resin on its way, and I'll share more about my experience with it in the future.
I'd like to emphasize that the model is currently not for sale, and the blueprints are not available to the public for now. But stay tuned for further updates and shares from me!
